OOh yes let me be first.... I was locked out of my computer for a day... had to work 8 hours to get the adware off... and my system restored.... ugh... ok.. back to other things guys... Sandi

Sandi, congrats on being first to post!  Spy Sweeper is a good program to prevent your puter from being attacked again.  Also Ad Aware (NOT Adware), which I believe is free.

Dany, What's a shame about you being in hospital is we weren't in the same ward together ! Bed buddies so to speak. Regretfully but not really so I'm of to the beauty therapist and I must run some errands ,I must pay some bills. My twitter alter ego is "pistolday". That's for Ricky. Back to annoy you all later.

Hi Dany, I'm back a completely new man . These girls I go to really know what they're doing ,Everything from the hot rocks to their tender touch is just fantastic. Moving on we must band together against these US agitators( Rick and David ) . Rick's a bit scary whilst David is fascinated by the sea and what's in it . Whilst I'm a hopeless romantic, whose only flaw is as Karen says ( waking up.) Welcome aboard eyecandy ,you will soon be adored by all as is Connie (The patron saint of all things good).

Hello Rick, That's fascinating your southern lifestyle to me , you must tell me more one day(really). Take me for instance Rick ,this morning I had beauty therapy , new oil in the car , something flushed out (not me) and a couple of other things done above my IQ level. Then I went looking for my lawn guy ,him and his wife have split up now I have to find new lawn guy..sigh..sigh..sigh. That's been exhausting for me ,so much so I can't practice my french on myself. !

Hello David ,You're a funny guy, Just a cautionary line "Don't go hunting with Rick!" I think I'd be half welcome and you could end up the R.K. I don't know of any beach pizza round here and I do live across the road .
A short story on one of my sons (The grease monkey) .This morning cost me 180 bucks at the dealer ship and now I'm thinking whose punishing who ? Short story:; A few weeks ago he brought around his new girlfriend for dinner ,shortly after there arrival he said he was going out for twenty minutes .Leaving this lovely 21 year old girl with two total strangers ,so after a couple of hours he rings and says he's going out with his friends instead .,and to put Julia on a cab to her place . So I barred him until he can learn to look after a woman properly .
Tomorrow's another hard of toil on the punt . One more week and the carnivals over .
Whilst you all sleep peacefully I'll be annoying New York Yankee fans today. New York and Boston never seems to sleep.
Hope I get some good reactions like yesterday , I want to work out who has the foulest mouths! Feeling a little more energized now ,might take up Ricks suggestion . After all I do smell fantastic. Yeah Baby .

David, Just wrote to Peachpie683 , I must say an outstanding reply from myself , showing responsibility .What I should have written was when Karen drank the beatings were twice weekly , now it's only once a month since she stopped and I agree with her it's for the best because I realize my womanizing is a problem . But I'm not stopping!
Hi Rick what ya all been eating ? Wish you were here ,due to all the rain got a bloody big bush rat in the roof , I know with a can do guy like you I wouldn't have to call the pest guy .

Mick, I can't believe that your son acted in such a selfish manner.  Poor girl!

Here's what I'm fed up with:  People who don't understand the fatigue of hep C and liver cancer on top of it.  My friend/neighbor, whom I've know for 10+ years, came by with something I'd asked her to pick up for me.  She remarked that I looked like I needed to go back to sleep, in a rather snide tone.  I told her that I am wiped out from the week I had, but she just gave me a blank look.  She really doesn't "get it."

Then my daughter called, mentioning she was tired and I told her I am, too, from the week I had.  To which she replied, "Oh, you don't have to tell ME, I know."  Well no, she doesn't.  She doesn't have a clue.  If it's not about her, she's not interested and can't empathize.  I don't know why I even bother trying to get through to her.

Do any of you with severe fatigue find it difficult to get people to understand?  Tell me your stories.

First off, I'm not surprised by the behavior (I was going to add a "u" in there for our Aussies) of Mick's son. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. In OZ they say that the dingo doesn't take a dump without a banshee.

Beach pizza is when you crunch a seagull while driving along the sand. They're not the brightest birds alive, much like the women that have fallen for Mick's line of blarney (Karen, you're a smart lady, what happened?).

Now to Connie,
I heard all the garbage for years. Working on construction sites, there's nothing held back when trading insults. I work for myself and have quite a bit of latitude as to when I show up and when I leave. When I was doing the interferon therapy, my workday started at 9am 'til noon, then a nap and back to work from 2pm 'til 5. To shut up the critics, I explained that I was 20 - 30 years their senior, made more money than they did and if they didn't like it, tough. I had almost no problems from most other folks, because they could see how sick I was and their concern seemed to be that I might keel over while they were nearby. Writing a column in the newspaper gave me a chance to tell people about Hep C and my journey. Quite a few folks would ask me about the disease and it was obvious they had Hep C, or thought they might. Then there were friends that said nothing had changed, I was still a lazy sob. Kind of like Mick.

Rick is a modern NC guy, but some things never change. He has forsaken his coon hound, for a guinea pig, but sleeping away warm summer days in the hammock is still part of his heritage. I like the hammock part.

David, I'm still amazed that you were (and are) able to work at such a physical job while undergoing treatment.

The people I speak of are ones that know me, know I have hep C and liver cancer, and have been told on more than one occasion how fatigued I get.  I guess it's just a case of really not understanding unless one has experienced it.

David, You're truly one of the great thinkers of our time ,I've been telling Karen for a month now that Mark is so much like her . This is confirmed when you see them together .He's a real Mummy's boy ,who only thinks of himself but never forgets his mother on birthdays etc . There's a joke the girls and I have ( Between them there's one full brain) . Really the only thing he has going for him is he was born with my good looks . Seriously Karen's a beautiful girl and it will be the end for me if she reads this!

Howdy Rick, No cowboys around here Rick . The two houses either side of us are holiday houses ,in fact Hugh Jackman we've seen once in three years ,is the only one we've met . He's even more aloof than me. I have been throwing baits in the roof ,see I can do some things,just didn't fancy getting wet ,it was really pelting down ( manhole in garage ).
As for your love mobile I've heard they're really reliable cars in fact a couple of fellas from up the road have got them ,done them up and they've been first cars for both their sons. The Aussie Buffet isn't happening till the first Sunday in May (Mother's Day). Well that's the day I booked it for ,Could be the second Sunday ,bad luck.

Hello Connie my Cherry Pie,
Fatigue ... I know all about it ,after breakfast a half hour to an hours snooze, same for lunch and in bed by ten. In fact I'm in bed all day! Last year after I came out of hospital I realized the lounge room to the bedroom was too far away ,so I bought a 3/4 bed and made base in the lounge room . All I really need now is a crapper at the end of the bed . You can get them you know, I've seen an add that says you can in any room in the house in fact . But Karen keeps skunking that idea . I totally support you and anybody else that suffers from fatigue as it is real, and I don't believe anyone enjoying a TV show will just roll over and go to sleep ,and people think they must be stupid. My mother in law when she popped in at Christmas time whines to Karen ,Michael doesn't want to talk to me he goes to sleep all day just about . So I explained it to her .You must be stupid Margaret just realizing now I don't like you ! Then I told her to go ***** to Karen and went back to sleep. In fact she rang today Connie ,I pleaded with her ....I don't care if you come down to the central coast for Easter just don't come hear. She then asked why ? I couldn't believe it .My only reply was ..Go and impose on your grandchildren ,I'm not a granny sitter.

The reason I moved to the States was my ex-husband (the lying, cheating American SOB was from here mad  )  However, I like to spend my pretentious, lying Canadian intelligence and talent working in medical research.  Currently, I work at a small biotech studying cancer and autoimmune disorders and looking for improved treatments.  My weekend job (the one I used to be at fulltime) studies neurogenesis (the creation of new neurons) that will hopefully help Alzheimer's, depression, anxiety, chemo brain...

I bet the bug looks great!  But is it blue or green tongue    There are lots of them over here in San Diego.

Connie, I can't say I understand the extreme fatigue as I have luckily only had it when my liver was initially failing.  When I do get tired now I chaulk it up to overexertion.  I chat with my mum daily and sometimes, if I go on about being tired then she'll bring up her fatigue and I'll apologize.  This is the 2nd cancer she's dealing with and I'll say "you win! I can't imagine how tired you are and sorry for whining".  There's not much whining here.  I don't appreciate when people go on about how crap they feel when they have a cold.  On the Breast Cancer 3-Day we have pins that say no whining unless you've been down the road of cancer and severe chronic illness.

David, I get the keeping busy thing.  I took a whole day and a half off when I got sick and that's only cuz they chucked me in the hospital.  When the jaundice hit is when I got crazy tired.  My boss kept tellign me to go home but I still didn't have a diagnosis and I said if I stopped working I'd just freak myself out as to why my liver decided to stop working.  So I trudged on and haven't stopped.

Mick, glad to hear the bodies (both car and human) were taken care of well.  I had a hot rock massage once.  Calming! 

Please whip that boy into shape!  That poor girlfriend.  At least the 2 strangers he left her with were kind.  The crapper at the end of the bed, while convenient not so much a turn on yeah

Happy Sunday all!  I'm off to a friend's house to cook and play with her kidlets as mine is at her dad's for the weekend.

Dany, you're a good daughter.  The fatigue that you HAVE had gives you some idea of what it's like to feel that way ALL the time.  I did notice that mine had gotten much worse in the past few months, and now know it's from the tumor as well as hep C.

I have a bedside commode that I acquired after my first hip replacement.  It also converts to over-the-toilet, and I still use it in that manner.  It's a high seat, which I need because of my hips, and also has arms which are handy for standing up.  I also have kept my crutches, walker, cane, and shower chair since I'm sure I'll need them again at some point.  I do use the shower chair.

I think those modern conveniences to help you out when your body can't cooperate are fantastic!  I was just bugging Mick with my comment.

Rick,

Our daughter will be 13 soon so only have 6 yrs left to deal with the ex.  We are supposed to have 50-50 but she stays with me about 90% of the time and I pay for everything...after school care, camp, lunch card, tutoring, doctor...so he's got it easy but if you hear it from him, he'll say how absolutely horrible a human being I am rolleyes

I got into the field I'm in as I am an animal health technician and part of our internships were in research and I stayed.  verbally I seem to be a "ball buster" but in reality, I'm a pushover.  I concede far to much to the men in my life and get walked over.  I do believe  my current relationship of 3.5 yrs is on it's way out.  It's hard to send someone packing when you know there could be more if they let their stupid anger/guard down...and drink and smoke weed less.  It's hard being perfectly clean and dealing with that too.  C'est la vie.

As per you headache problem...read that line you wrote repeatedly and your headache should go away from the confusion turn

Unlike my bretherin brother Rick I haven't been bitten by any snakes ,nor have I ever been arrested ! All women that meet me tell Karen that I'm smart and witty . Enough of me .You have a lot of energy doing what you do ,good samaritan . Hell yeah! I just wish you were in Australia. The son who's on the black ban is 28 and has done that weed smoking crap since he was 16 . Karen thought he would grow sick of it but not to be . He is becoming more useless as each year passes by. The rest of our children are very successful and terrific . That's it for now delicious ...sweet dreams.
