Can a person remember what they we doing whilst they had an episode of H.E.?. Has anybody suffered frm hiccups all the time. Mum has been good for a couple of weeks now but asof yesterday did not know where the toilet was.Eating A little not as she used to and she has a constant fever.

The fever is a sign of infection somewhere in her body.  skull    You need to get her to a doctor or the ER.

And no, people who have H.E. don't generally remember what they did, unless it's of the mild variety where they know what's happening but are unable to stop it.

MIke used to have bouts of hiccups... you're the first one that I remember talking about that symptom... yep... he used to hate it... and in the beginning it would sometimes bring bouts of vomiting blood... before the TIPs operation...

After an episode with HE, my husband has never remembered what happened. I guess in a way, it's good that they don't, but bad for us because we live through it.

I will let others answer the hiccup questions, as I have not noticed that with my husband.
