Thanks for the thoughts Connie. I am feeling very peaceful. I love my guy and I am sure that we will get through this. Not sure how long it will take or how many bumps we may have in the road, but we will get there just the same. I am sure that he and I will chat over the weekend before the couples appt on Tuesday. We haven't spoken much about it since Wednesday night...he has had a stomach flu bug with a 103+ fever and constant trips to the bathroom.

connie, i believe he has continued to drink but i have found no hard evidence. he is a fool to himself. sister in law is visiting their other brother and his wife got thrown from her horse and has broken her back in three places. (not doing well with luck here at the mo)! so she is staying untill tuesday to help out as other sis in law only came out of hospital thursday and they have an 8 year old. poor woman.
my sis in law should change her name to florence, she does so much for this family. i would imagine she will need a couple of days rest when she gets back so i am probably looking at having hubby here untill next week end.
it has been a complete nightmare but i cannot put too much on sis in law at the moment, i think she is fair worn out!.
hubby has got nasty scab type things all over his scalp which are very sore looking and weepy, i thought they were bites but on closer inspection they are not and look almost like lesions, (wrong spelling)!. do you have any idea what they may be and why? i saw something similar on my grandad when he got ill but dont know what they were or why?.
any thoughts appreciated. hope everyone is getting by.

Natasha, you spelled lesions correctly. 

My gosh, what more can happen?  The woman who broke her back will probably need surgery...unless they are simple fractures, in which case she may require bed rest or a brace.

I feel for you having to put up with hubby for another week.  Let's just hope he doesn't get drunk and lash out at the children as before.

I really have no idea what those head sores could be.  People with HIV get sores, but I'm assuming he doesn't have that.   If they're weeping, he could have an infection.  I Googled it and there were no definitive answers for the cause; however, many reported "cures" or improvement from using Head and Shoulders for Oily Hair, eliminating breads and sweets totally, and using tea tree oil on the lesions.
