Hi I just wanted to let you all know that I'm 34 weeks pregant. So it is possible to get pregnant with AIH. I'm on 50mg Imuran and the Dr's decided to put me on 30mg of Lovenox a blood thinner to make sure I wasn't having blood clots due to the liver I guess. My baby is growing fine and everything looks good. I never thought it was possible to get pregnant with AIh but it is..

Congratulations, Bulldoglover! I hope you have an uneventful delivery and a healthy baby. I don't think that it's impossible to get pregnant with AIH...just that it is not advisable.

Congratulations!  It's possible but you have to be careful with the meds you are on and you should be seeing a high risk gyny.  There's also a higher possibility for having a flare after the birth.  My girlfriend who has had RA since she was 3 had to take Lovenox during both her pregnancies.

Congratulations
I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins, I have AIH and Crohn's.
I see a high risk gyno and everything going according to plan.
I have never heard that it would be hard to get pregnant with AIH its the time after giving birth I am worried about.
