I picked up the Rx and my neighbor is now filling it for me. I got to Radiology at 1:50, with prep to begin at 2. I didn't get out of there until 4:25. It took awhile to get an IV in me (as usual.) The van was supposed to pick me up at 4:30, but I was banking on their being late, what with it being Friday of a holiday weekend. And they were, showing up at 5:10. And then we had to double back to pick someone up miles west of me, and finally got home at 6. Long day. They attached cameras to my shin...something that has never been done before. I'm not sure how that works with the MRI. But I was anxious to get out of there, so didn't ask questions. Now to wait for the results and pray (hard!) that the infection hasn't gone to the bone.
Hugs,
Connie

Hi Connie,
When will you get the results of your scan? Hope the results are what you hoped for. Georgia.

Hi, Georgia. I should have the results sometime this week. With the holiday, the clinics are all closed today and I'm sure they are backed up with dictation, etc.
My nurse came today and practically had to break the door down as I was snoozing away. He was 2 hours early and I had my phone off the hook and earplugs in. The wound looked clean, swelling is down, and there is no redness. Since it is such a deep wound, it's going to take a long time to heal. But as long as there is no infection, I should be fine.
Thanks for asking.
Hugs,
Connie

Since this has gone to the 4th page, I'm locking it and starting another thread.
Hugs,
Connie
