Hi Sunflower, Sometimes my husband gets pains like that and it's his gall bladder. They tell him he has gallstones but they won't do anything about it until he gets his transplant. The doctor said that he can try not eating for a day or so and also fresh beets have helped.
Mine gets a new meld score tomorrow and we have our travel arrangements to go to the transplant center for his 6 month checkup since he was placed on the list.
I'm very lucky that my husband has pretty much kept his sense of humor (probably more so than I have). Yesterday he said he couldn't get up his email on his computer. So I went to see what the problem was. He hadn't even gotten online! I reminded him he had to click on the big 'e' for Internet Explorer to get online first. Then I laughed and said I didn't know why I was telling him that. He knows that but the HE makes him forget these little things. He won't remember what I've told him tomorrow. He often talks about going to see all the movies we've seen over again after his transplant - it'll be like watching them for the first time.
Gotta try & see some of the humor in all this to keep our sanity.
Taking it one day at a time.....
Terri
