Not sure how everyone is doing today, but I got a nice little case of food poisoning. My wife made meatballs from ground chicken. They were cooked all the way through, so the chicken must of been bad. At any rate, about an hour after we ate our stomaches turned in on themselves. I woke up this morning and felt "alright" so i went to work. Not a good idea, I can barely do anything my stomach is so cramped up. My wife sent me an email to tell me she is going home in an hour because her stomach hurts so much.

I hope everyone else is having a much better day, oh and it is 4 degrees and windy outside here LOL.

 Sounds like a nooner day to me Syxx . Chicken ? Really ? Come on fess up here . It's 45 and raining , Suuuuuucks here too . Hmmmmm , Gave me a idea . Think I'll call the sow !!!!

Food poisoning has got to be one of the worst stomach aches ever! I got it once way back in the olden days when I was a young chick! It was from bacon,imagine that! Cooked it and ate it,should have known it wasn't good when i touched it,but I ate it and then it ate me up.


I learned the hard way,now I double check my meat,if it even looks a little funny,out it goes,whether its good or bad.

Oh you just brought back a wonderful (not!) memory for me. I was going to tech school, I had about 5 mins. till my next class, and I was starving. So I went to the sandwich machine (1st mistake), chose a tuna salad sandwich (2nd mistake), and even though I thought it felt kinda warm - I ate it (3rd HUGE mistake). Oh my sweet lord, I have NEVER gotten so sick in my life! It didn't actually hit me until later that afternoon. I was sick for almost 2 weeks total. At first I was praying that it wouldn't kill me, but after a few days...... smhair It was years before I could even look at tuna fish.

That is funny, I had a similar incident but not because of bad food. This was in January of 2004 I just got out of college and moved into my own place, had just gotten a puppy etc. Anyways, my parents had picked up a Papa Murphey's pizza for dinner. So i stopped by and ate with them. After eating I went home and within 30 minutes I was getting sick all of the kitchen floor. Let us just saying, papa murpheys does not taste as good coming up as it does going down.

Anyways, I was horribly sick for like 4 days. I could not hold anything down for 3 days.

I have only been able to eat Papa Murphey's Pizza within the last 2 years. I could walk in or smell it and I would start to get sick.

Yesterday no, it ended up not being food poisoning. My wife and I both were sick, I got home at 1230 and by 130 she was home. She stayed home today.

Found out my sister and her boyfriend were sick 2 days before and there has been a 24 hour flue bug going around all week.

I feel much better today.

Yes, there is a bug. My g'daughter and her family were all sick with it.

My wife slept a lot today. My stomach was a little touchy this morning, but was fine by noon. I had toast and soup for lunch.

Feel great tonight.

How about having a day like this?

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services.

He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?” The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard.

The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?"
