Oh Syxx I actually live in Wisconsin now. I was living in Moorhead, MN right outside Fargo, ND for the past 18 years. I still don't live all that far from you. Probably about three hours from you. Mike and went down to the Mayo Clinic there at Rochester. Where do you doctor? Sorry I don't know. Sandia

I started going to Minnesota Gastrointestinal. I saw 2 doctors there. A 3rd who works for MN Gastrointestinal out of Abbott did my stents.

The specialist who is the bile duct surgeon works out of Abbott.

They all work closely with University of Minnesota, so if anything happens I am already kind of linked to the U.

I can go to Mayo but the covereage is less, so 40% out of my pocket for visits. Right now I am capped with my in network provider, so no cost to me for rest year.

Sorry I was busy earlier. Yes, Mike was head for the U of MN... can't remember why we switched to the Mayo. We didn't have any problem with coverage. He was on Medicare whatever that covers. He had a lot of testing. All of his work up at Fargo was covered. We had excellent doctors. Thanks for our response. I'll have to think about it more. The U of MN is supposed to be good from what I heard.

My insurance will cover Mayo, it is just more expensive. From what I read the U of M is very comparable in care so I will go there if need be. right now for my bile duct treatment I am seeing 2 doctors at Abbott. The first put the stents in the second is the surgeon.

Exactly, we checked out the U of MN first. Im not sure why we ended up at Mayo. I think that Mayo got us in quicker and it was a longer wait at the U of MN if I recall right. Im pretty sure. Actually, the U of MN had higher recommendations.
