what it all means ...Just got Hep B +ve

Hi,

This is my first post.
Today I got many result of test report.

HBsAg +ve
HBeAg -ve
Anti-Hbe Detectedal
hepetitis surface antigen - positive
hepetitis core antibody - positive
B core IgM - Negative
PCR HBV DNA Viral LOAD - 630,000 IU/ML
ALT 25 IU/L (Normal 1-41)
AST 25 IU/L (Normal 1-38)
LFT test Normal
Ultra Sound - Normal
Tumor Markers Alpha fetoprorein - 3 KU/L (0-0.58 Normal)

anti mitochondriyal titre - negative
anti liver microsome type1 - negative
anti smooth muscle antibody titre - negative
parietal cell auto antibody - negative


Doctor told ; low risk for other to get from me and low risk to get any liver problem in Long term though I am chronic hepetitis carrier. But he have not elaborate more on anything ( monitoring , vaccination , food , Further treatment etc)


Can any one guide me ?

     letsc,  love that name!!   your dr. is correct.   you appear to be in the window phase of B. hbsag+ shows infection.if it stays positive for 6 months you are called a carrier.  with your alt being normal, your probably not chronic.  carriers who have seroconverted to hbeag- have very little viral replication and are low risk to transmit the virus. 

      your dr seems to have everything under control.

 

        most adult onset hep b infections clear on their own.  hopefully you will too.  tx is only necessary in a small % of patients.  your dr. will monitor periodically by blood analysis. if you clear your viral load will become undetectable and your afp may normalize.  relax, but stay on top of it.
