My mom was blessed with a new liver, early this morning. So far all is well. She is in ICU and hopefully, the are planning to take out the breathing tube within the next few hours. It's going to be rough road to recovery...we will take it one day at a time. I am so thankful for so many things but extremely thankful to the donor and the donor's family. They will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Oh. How. Terrific!! I have so much gratitude for the donor and the donor family.
Spill girl :) Where did your Mom get the transplant? Did you make it to Mayo JAX, or was it in NY? I tried to find anything from you since you were filling out paperwork for Mayo JAX.
