If you test negative at 6 months, you most likely don't have hep B or C. Remember that HCV is blood-borne and not as easy to contract as B. Both B and C are sometimes kicked out of your system by your system This happened for me with hep B, but not C, though I always test positive for hep B Instead of self-testing, I recommend that you go to your doctor for testing and results. Now I have blood testing regularly, post-transplant.
