I know a lot about
Hepatitis B since that's what my mom has. But, I have a question about
Hepatitis C. How quick does Hepatitis C show up in your blood work from the time you were exposed to it? Does it take years?

The CDC website says 1-3 weeks. In the first few weeks the person may have acute HCV and some mild sypmtoms. Antibodies will show up 8-10 weeks after exposure. 60-85% of those infected will develop chronic HCV. Those who clear the virus during the acute stage will always test positive for antibodies but won't test pos for HCV RNA. That is my understanding anyway. Hope that helps.
