Sigh..

Wife had an employee call and ask if she could borrow female products. My wife said ok, oddly this is like 4th time. Anyways, long story short she used our bathroom. I got home went to get a pain pill for my back, they were all gone. My wife said oddly my daughters stool used to wash hands was in front of medicine cabinet. At least 40 5x325 vicodin missing.

Seriously, thats like half a month of pills.

Omg that is awful! Did she take any the first 3 times?

Jeez I sure hope you can get more but insurance may make you wait. I can't believe how low people stoop!

We reported to sheriff's office. I do take daily otherwise I have a lot of pain in late afternoon and evening.

I push the pain pills way back so they are not visible. My wife is this lady's boss and said she has mentioned my back pain and how it is managed to her. My wife is very upset, she feels violated (trust that is.)

I do not know if it happened before but definitely not to this extreme.

 Syxx , My wife works for a doctors office . She does billing but patients see her on the way to the doctors exam room . She is bombarded by druggies looking for pills when we go to our local stores or even out eat . I've had a few run in's with some that seem a bit aggressive , We've had two incidents where people have followed her home and approached her in our front yard asking for prescriptions . We don't shop locally anymore and I bought her a 38 . I got a feeling these types of problems are gonna get worse with the new laws passed in Medicare . They are turning people down right and left for all types of medications that normally went through without question .

Yeah ny wife is barely talking. When she does she just says, she took them.

I think she is holding back tears.

It will suck paying myself but I will. I am going to get a box and hide them elsewhere.
My wife and I were talking. about 2 months ago I had a prescription of pain meds that I found to have regular tylenol in like 5 or 6 days later. The top pills had vivodin under like 80 extra strength tylenol. We thought pharmacy made mistake, but we realize this morning that she had come over and gave Becca flowers to thank her for her help with letting her use bathroom that morning for same thing, girl problems.
I think she stole the pain meds then too.

She lost her nursing license for stealing narcotics from patients.

Now 3 other people have come out at nursing home saying that they had pain pills go missing.

I pulled the report of verdict for why she lost license. Looks like 5 known reports of narcotic theft in a 4 month span.

She did go to treatment, obviously did not work. I feel bad for her daughter who is 16.

Syxx, where is the pain? Rear? If you don't feel better soon, go to ER. Could be e-coli or similar.

Sorry SyXx. I think it was you that posted about an RX for pain meds with regular Tylenol in bottle. If this is a way addicts operate now, replacing full strength Tylenol for the missing vicodin.... this could really harm a someone. Especially someone with liver disease. Yikes!

How sad for your wife. Betrayal like that is simply...painful.

It does contain acetaminophen, David. How much is based on the dose and how often per day. The one generic is 5/500. That is 500 mg acetaminophen. My doc does not want patients to take more than 2000 acetaminophen per day. Toxic stuff if one takes too much...or mixed with other cough cold flu products OTC....that also contain acetaminophen.

Good luck with the appointment, SyXx. Pain from chronic conditions can interfer with so much of life when not controlled. Norco looks better on the Tylenol side of the coin than Vicodin. Take good care. themiz
