Bozine, prior to '93, there was no specific test for hep C. Prior to that, it was known as non-A, non-B hep, as they didn't know what it was.
I unlocked the thread to tell you that I must delete your post shortly. First of all, you are discussing illness that belongs in UC. Also, the mention of a non-Rx med falls into this category:
RULES:
Sharing of links to helpful and relevant web sites and resources is allowed if they are NOT used for a promotional purpose.
Since this is the 2nd time you have mentioned something in opposition to the rules ("grass" was the first), I have to believe that this post is promoting a non-legit treatment. It doesn't have to be a link to such info, but just the mention of it.
You are on a slippery slope. Please be careful. While I, personally, may be okay with some things, our Administrator is not...and the Mods would be reprimanded for allowing things he doesn't agree with.
TO ALL: If you are ever in doubt about
posting something, you can contact the Administrator for specific guidelines and/or approval. There is a rule against drug trials, too, but I have been allowing mention and links, as more and more hep C treatments are in Phase 3 and will soon be available. I need to contact the Admin. myself about
this and see if we can get an exception. He DOES read posts himself, to see what is being posted and what the Mods' replies are. To contact Admin. Peter White:
