question regarding post transplant visit...

How often do you go back to see the transplant team post transplant? Is the protocol different depending on the reason why you had the transplant (HCC, Hep C, Hep B, autoimmune, etc)???

Also, what does your post transplant visits include, besides bloodwork? (Example Mri or CT scan of abdomen and pelvis, CT scan of chest, etc).

8/11 Discharge from Hospital
8/12 Clinic Visit and Ultrasound (due to spike in labs)
8/13 Clinic visit
8/14 Clinic visit
8/16 Clinic visit
8/19 Clinic visit, Ultrasound, discharge from hotel to home
9/6 Clinic visit to remove staples
9/16 Clinic visit and Ultrasound (due to pale stools)
9/25 Hep Dr. appt.
10/23 Hep Dr. appt.
1/29/14 Hep Dr. Appt.

Very often. Even 2 years out from TP, I will get an unexpected appt. from them. I go 2-3 times a week.

I've had a multitude of problems post TP, so I go much I go much more frequently than others do. I still go monthly for labs.
