is this nash?

when i had pain in right quadrant, elevated liver enzymes and did ultrasound the result was:

Ultrasonography of the right hypochondrium:

Signs of hepatic steatosis, no focal liver lesions.
Transsonante gallbladder with normal gallbladder wall, no dilated bile ducts.
Normal right kidney.

does this mean i have nash?

hi just man, i read your other post. it seems that your enzymes rise as you gain weight. and now your US, shows steatosis. do you have blood sugar problems?

nash is possible. stay with the diet and exercise regimine to find out. if it is nash, there is a tx in stage 3 trials that can help.

no blood sugar problem. how ill i find out by exercise regime if it is nash?

hi just man, i dont have a lot of knowledge on Nash. Nash is a build up of fatty deposits on the surface of the liver.
weight gain
type 2 diabete
cholesterol &triglyceride(high)
metabolic issues
contribute to the progression of nash. there are no meds yet for nash. it can be controlled by;
low fat &low sugar diet
exercising regular
no alcohol
there is a tx in clinical trials that is looking very positive for the near future. best to you

it is in stage 3 trials. so it is a couple years away. you can log on to clinical trials.gov and type in nash. should be easy. if you need help with it i will look it up.

ppm guy, i will be happy if you help because it seems that there are many trials for nash.
by the way, in my last blood resul 2 weeks ago my all liver enzymes were normalized.
however, still i have dull and changing pain in right quadrant and not sure if it is due to liver or irritable bowel syndrome which i have. if it was due to liver, it should be due to liver inflammation and then i should not have the normal enzyme results. right? i really do not know the reason. any comment on this issue?
