Hubby Still Foggy after Triple Therapy, how long will this last?

Hi every one. I'm Yogi's wife. Yogi was diagnosed with Hep C last Sept and he completed the triple therapy Feb 28th. It's been an emotional journey, but he is virus free. I'm wondering how long the confusion and mind games from the drugs will last. Sometimes he can tell when it's the side effects from the treatment and sometimes he can't. He says he feels like he's losing his mind and can't always tell what is real and what is crazy thoughts. Can anyone help us with that?

What drugs did your husbands treatment comprise of? We have several members on the new treatment and several who went through treatment with interferon. If I remember right David a board member did interferon and cleared the virus.

Also, you can click the little pencil in your post to edit it and add a title then go to the new one and delete it so you have just one thread going. (Done, ML)

I was told that it takes as long to (totally) clear interferon as the time you took it. After a while, the effects become less, but I noticed them for at least 6 months, having taken interferon for 48 weeks.

i did triple int/rib/inc in 2012 for 48 weeks. i am mostly better now but adding that 3rd med makes things worse. for 8 months post, i had brain fog, joint pain, and general malaise.

Mike took a long time to clear the inf/riba in 2003. He was so run down and lost over 50 lbs. I think maybe a year until he was himself. BUT, he still had Hep C, so tired, etc continued to this day.
