Members. The goal of this forum is to share information and to support each other through rough times. Liver disease, in many forms, is difficult for the patient and for the patient's family.
We guide our selves by the rules of the Forum established by our Administrator.
I remind you tonight of Rule 3:
3. No posts that attack, insult, flame, defame, or abuse others. Respect other members' opinions regarding treatment decisions. Decisions about health and well-being are highly personal choices. We should respect all points of view. Flaming will not be tolerated.
Since we have had some unpleasant posts that are not really respectful, I will delete those posts and encourage members to take information as it is offered, ignoring information that is not helpful to you.
In cases where one member finds another disagreable or upsetting we have a feature that allows you to IGNORE a member's post. It is on the right of the posts. Occasionally I hit the ignore button by mistake, and then I go to my PROFILE and MANAGE my igorned list.
I am also aware that liver disease and treatments for liver disease can cause anxiety...as several of our posters have reported lately...so we have to be especially sensitive to other's states of mind.
Best to all...we are here to help EVERYONE and to judge NOONE.
