I have been on the Sovaldi Ribivarin program since Feb 21, 2014. I have had amazing results but I am to be on the regimen for 24 weeks. I have type 3b. Lately I am experiencing a high fever (102+) and body aches with horrible nausea. Is this something I should be concerned about? I travel 5 hours to my Dr once a month now and don't want to be dropped from the program since Wyoming currently isn't treating many folks with these new drugs. My viral load is down to non-detectable. My liver is at stage 4 just prior to a transplant, so I don't know if these symptoms are anything others are experiencing.

Does anyone have this same issue that could give me some guidance?

Mike's hep wants to hear from him with fever over 101.

You could simply have a bug....like a normal person.

Is there a nurse line at your hep doc 5 hours away...we have a 4.5 hour round trip commute, so I know what you mean. But going to the community doc isn't an option, they do wrong stuff.

Also, Sovaldi has a nurse help line for those on treatment. 855 769 7284 is the number I have.

Give them a shout.

Thank you for responding. The first time this happened I thought it was a bug. But no one around me gets sick with the same symptoms and it happens if I get too run down. I will call the nurse, and 5 hours is each way for me but worth every minute. Thanks.
