Well, after 88 grueling weeks on Pegasys, riba and Neupogen (as my WBC dropped) years ago I retreated with the new combo and my 3 month HCV RNA was clear, now my 6 month is also clear = I am cured.

Wow.

And I thought my 55 weeks of interferon/ribavirin was a record. I have now been undetectable for over 3 years. Congratulations! It's worth it...

Great news, Buddy.

It seems more and more folks in the US have access to Hep C treatments that work. Now we need to ID the 3 million likely infected who don't know, and need to be tested. Hep C does years of damage before one gets sick.
