Hep C and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Is any one on here also with Rheumatoid along with Hep C. I did the meds for Hep 15 years ago and its been non detectable since. My Rheumy wants me to add Ariva to the Plaquenil I have been on for the last 2 years for RA. Can anyone relate?

I am really happy to hear you obtained SVR with treatment. My husband treated with interferon/riba as a GT3, and also is SVR for several years. Sadly, he already had cirrhosis and is now on a transplant list.

Others that may have the same experience with a history of Hep C and RA will hopefully be along to welcome you, and share their experience.

Hi I have RA but have hep B so I don't really know if I can be any help my doctor has taken me off of all RA med but plaquenil and prenosone I'm doing better with the prenosone pain is a lot less, at least I can walk some and use my hands more now. I take another blood test around the middle of July hoping everything is down will post when I get results. Vickie
