ME,
I am joining from Eastern europe.
Unfortunately there is no common rules. The progression can be delayed, halted even reversed.
I see in this forum everybody is talking about
meld score.
Meld is important only in esld and is connected organ a
location and estimating the time some person will need of transplant. No differnce between meld 9 and 14 for example. Very offten people with meld 14 feels better than these with 9 and have a normal live for a long.
Pass trough blood test, get where you are but do not consider MELD only.
See plateles, albumin, INR.
And the level of redness of the palm is nothing, just your paranoya. It is not connected with complication from cirrhosis, somethingmore there are 100 other reasons for that.
Keep sober, visit your doctor from time to time and be happy. No one will live for ever.
Cheers,
E.
