Drug Toxicity Liver Issues

Hi, I need help for my mom. It's been about a month now but she has had a reaction to a anti-parasitic medication she was given. She was on it for about 7 days and developed all the signs of liver issues but didn't go to the Dr immediately. Here were/are her symptoms:

-Severe itching
-Jaundice-skin and eyes
-Little red bumps all over that seem sore
-no appetite
-urine that looks like Coke
-upset stomach and not eating much
-extreme tiredness

Here lab work initially showed:

Bilirubin 9.5
ALT/AST 535/320
Alkaline Phosophotate 300s (don't recall exact number)

Just had her blood done again last week (3 weeks after initial blood)

Bilirubin 10.0
ALT/AST 320/210
Alkaline Phoso-??

I see her numbers are improving but she seems to be worse than before and I am super concerned. She's 73. Was admitted to the hospital for 4 days after the first blood test and was put on IV fluids and had an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed nothing abnormal so they sent her home and said to follow up with her dr in 1 week for a blood draw and GI/Hep Dr in 3 weeks which she goes next week.

As any daughter would be, I'm exteremely concerned and reading everything I can online which isn't much. Is she going to be okay and how can we get the Bilirubin to come down so the itching stops? It's horrible. Also, does it normally take this long to get better?

Concerned the Drs are missing something.
