hep c ?'s

Hi all !

My husband at the time was diagnoced with Hep C in April 2003.

I left him a short time later ( not because of that)

I have had 3 Hep C test since then and have all came back nonreactive.

I recently had some blood work done and my Liver inzines are too high in one area.

Could it be possable that I have hep C now? I mean could it show up now?

Has this happened to anyone?

Welcome to HealingWell. I'm not sure if hepC could show up so long after you left your husband. I think it can show up a long time after using drugs so perhaps it could in your case as well.

Have another hepC test. That's the only way to be sure.

Thank you. I had another test done yesterday for Hep B & C.

first of all ,,hep c is not normally transmitted sexually,,,,so i would think your tests already coming back negative is a good sign,,,,there are many reasons for elevated liver enzymes,,,dont panic until your dr gets done with all the tests. even hep a,,which is acute(usually caught from contaminated water),,,,can cause your liver levels to increase,,,,infections even cause liver levels to not be right,,,so becareful not to stress yourself out about more serious things til you get the dx from your dr,,,good luck
