Liver re-transplantation

Just wondering anyone out there who is awaiting a liver re-transplant cos of recurrent hepc as would like to hear your story. I had liver tranplant seventeen years ago as a result of autoimmune hepatitis and then contracted hep c through transfusion. My liver lasted very well and I have had a really good experience with little ill health until last oct when I developed ascites. Have been on the transplant list for six months now and waiting.. would love to hear from anyone on this subject

Welcome daly32, I not sure if we have anyone who is on transplant list for the second time. But we certainly have them who are waiting for the first time. It's amazing that your transplant lasted 17 years. Hope your second one lasts longer.
