Here's another poser for you. We are going to a friend's house for a meal this Saturday and, although she is a very good cook, she is preparing a dish of spinach and chickpea gratin. I assume that chickpeas might be a bit tricky for me, the old IBS sufferer!! Is there anything I can take either pre or post meal (not too obvious so it doesn't look like a slur on her cooking!!) to reduce the risk of mega wind?
Many thanks!

Beano is probably the best choice and take an antigas med right after like Gas-x or carry some Tums or Rolaids. Might help. Can't hurt!

Wasn't too bad actually but I can't say I care for the chick pea taste - or rather lack of it. Tum seems to have been quite docile anyway so that's good!!
