Carbs are the biggest source of sugar for the body. You can refrain from eating table sugar, honey and the like, but the corn, carrots, potatoes, etc. will give you what you need.
I'm a bit confused now - I didn't really think of carbohydrates as being sugar (although, I guess they are). What's the difference between the carbohydrate type of sugar and the type of sugar that is recommended for an anti-candia diet?
My diet consists of lots of vegetables (cucumbers, tomatos, lettuce, peppers, carrots, celery) and nuts, seeds, quinoa, brown rice, fish, chicken. I also have three tablespoons of linseed (flaxseed) per day and suppliment plenty of vitimins and minerals (including acidophilus and caprylic acid). I have a 1.5litre bottle of mineral water everyday and about
2-3 cups of herbal tea. I don't have any fizzy drinks, junk food, coffee, tea, alcohol and fruit. I've only recently changed to this diet (a couple of months), hoping that it'll help my IBS. Is there anything important that I'm missing from this diet?
