Diarrhea after gall bladder removal - Any info is appreciated

I've had IBS since I was 17 and I'm now 33.

I was at work one night and took a bad pain in the stomach, which ended up in vomitting and diarrhea. I was sent for tests including an Ultrasound and they discovered large gall stones. I was sent to a specialist and she recommended removing the gall bladder. 5 weeks ago, I had the surgery and she assured me I would go back to normal within a couple of weeks, being able to get back to normal foods, activities, etc. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. Every time I eat, I get a feirce pain in my right side (near the bottom of the rib cage) and it ends with a long agonizing trip to the washroom.

I was operated on for a Hiatus Hernia 10 years ago and the IBS was still manageable. I was at a point where I could live and not worry about having to go to the washroom all the time. This was all fine...up until the galll bladder operation. Now, I get diarrhea frequently, a lot of the time after I eat. It's yellow liquid and burns coming out. If there's any thickness to the stool, it usually comes out green. I'm assuming this is is an excess of bile from the liver (without the gall bladder to regulate). This is a new symptom to me but I feel like it's something serious, as I can barely do any activities beyond leaving the house. I'm supposed to return to work in 2 weeks but with this constant ache and diarrhea, I don't think I will be able to.

I've been researching the symptoms a bit and found things like Questran, Cholestyramine, and Welchol. If anyone has any similar issues, info to share, or if anyone has found a way to control this and live again, please feel free to reply.
