I hate hemroids too, but they don't bother me like they used to.
I have had them in one form or another for several decades, and only now figuring out what I could have done differently. First determine if they are hemroids or boils (boils are like a big hard zit and can be on or even in your rectum.
If it is boils, which I have had often, until, like zits, I cut back on my sugar and fat intake.
My hemroids, which I have had for about 3 decades, were likely caused by too much straining to have a bowell movement (constipation) and possibly from sitting for long periods of time (especially on hard surfaces). I minimize them by limiting my straining and avoiding too much sitting.
In both cases, I never had much luck with over the counter creams, but ice or a "dip" in cold water helps alot. Obviously avoid sitting if possible (not only to avoid the pain but to minimize the inflamation). Lying in a cool room(but side up) in some cool short is gentle way of cooling things down.
The itching can also be diminished with the ice, (or you may have better luck then me with the hydrocortizone creams specifically for the anal itch).
The boils have about a week long cycle for me (at least when I used to have them), but I have become quite good at deflating my hemoroids within minutes sometimes, partly because I know how to avoidinflaming them too much in the first place.
At your age you stand a good chance of actually healing your hemorhoids so they don't return, if that is what it is, if you are careful. I will probably need surgery to completely rid myself of them, but until I do, they don't really bother me enough to bother at this time
No need to fear, just learn what you have and what you can do about it and you can find a way through it.
Good Luck.
