Quick question..... does Miralax cause you to have MULTIPLE bowel movements thru out the day? Not diarreah... just ALOT of bowel movements ALLday

Prof,  I have used Miralax and it depends on how much you take a day.  It seems to just soften my stools and then its harder for me to move.  So if your plugged then you use it 3 times a day otherwise 2 times a day...good luck.  Leslie

I have taken Miralax for over a year. I take it at night and usually, but not always, the next morning I have a softer bowel movement. I have never had diarrhea from it. Ever. But that is just me. It can cause bloating too, though, so keep that in mind.
