For the past 6 weeks I have been taking a new product called TUzen....only available in Canada  It is a probiotic.  It was recommended to me by a co-worker who also has IBS.  IT WORKS.  The frequent pooping is no where near as often as it used to be.  Plus all the other awful symptoms have stopped.  (Marketing link deleted)

For all you Canadian IBS folks, you can buy this at Shoppers Drug Mart.  You need to get a package and let me know how you are doing.

I no longer have to worry about where the next washroom is.......I am so happy to have this fixed.  Nothing else was working.

I got some today and have already taken two pills. I will post updats as days pass to let folks know how it works. I hope it is better than Culturelle, VSL#3, Florastor, and the other industrial strength products I have tried and which stopped working after a few weeks or never worked at all.

You need to take 2 a day for 7 days then go down to one a day after that.

I have had IBS-D for 27 years. What a miserable time!  I started taking a couple of months ago, Caltrate 600+D plus minerals supplement. I noticed a difference after just a few days. Then, I heard that probiotics were good for IBS.  I started taking Acidophilus probiotic formula (purple bottle). I can honestly say, after 27 years of suffering; I have found something simple and inexpensive that has worked. Instead of going to the bathroom all the time, I can count the times on one hand for the past couple of months.

So, give it a try. Good luck.

Had a great day after two days of TuZen. One non-urgent formed stool in the morning. Feeling a bit gassy and bloated etc. but nothing too serious.

Now after 4-5 days on TuZen I can feel it kicking in, and with it has come lots of rumbling and bloating, and large urgent BMs in the morning. Will stay on it and see what the coming days and weeks may bring. The fast and incredible initial success has changed to discomfort now.

HI Mitzo, what kind of discomfort are you feeling......I experienced some mild cramping....but after the 7 days when I started taking one a day it went away.....Diane

Hey Diane, I am having stomach pain in the morning and multiple loose/watery very urgent BMs after 5 or 6 days on TuZen, plus rumbling and bloating sensations. I intend to cut back to 1 a day on the weekend. We'll see. My record with probiotics is pretty bad, so I am not hoping for too much with the TuZen. My first two days on it were remarkable, though. I would like to have results like yours!

Have you tried Beta Gest by GNLD, works great so far so good.  Never ever had relief like this I have only been on it for 4 days and my son over 2 week...we feel terriffic...give it a shot.  OMG,  finally feel like my old self again...  Leslie

Had a great day today, day 8 on TuZen - after a week of messiness. Maybe this means it is kicking in, or just a fluke, we'll see.

Hi Mitzo,

Don't give up on it....I pretty much had the same experience the first week.  I am so happy to have found this product; it really has changed by life.  My neighbour's daughter also has IBS and I recommended this to her as well.  She has also had alot of improvement with this product.

Well, 2 weeks of TuZen and I am no better than ever, same problems with D. I will keep it up for more time, but have lost faith in this probiotic.
