Any suggestions,thoughts, or ideas...Please, HELP

dexilant is what used to be called Kapidex and is used to treat GERD.  It may also help some people who also have IBS.

I have just been diagnoised with IBS, I have had alot of food allergies,and I have ciliac,and Ic. So my diet already is very limited.

But this Ibs has been a rude of wakening. I have never experienced such pain in my life. from diareaha to low back pain,to right side

pain to constipation. I have read and re-read letters from Ibs people. My heart breaks and I totally understand. Two different doctors have told me it's Ibs,

I thought I was dying. They just put me on dexilant,I don't know if it helps yet. Does anyone know about this drug? I am afraid to eat at all,and then


I feel weak. I hope there will be and end to all of this soon.

I'm giving up om my HMO, not myself. There is a difference. I have survived a lot in my life I am not going to let this condition destroy my life. I don't want that put that on my kids shoulders. I don't know where you thought I was giving up, so I am sorry for any miss communication on my part. I am just stating fact, my GI doc is stumped and doesn't know what to do for me on this issue. If I was giving up I wouldn't be seeking any and all advice that I could. People, for thethe most part, who "give up" don't seek help, they seclude and isolate themselves, and not all do this, but they usually either do harm to themselves or others. THIS IS NOT ME! I have some plans when I go on vacation trying different things in diet on my own again, and exercise, and some things that I don't neccessarly want advertized to the world on this site, for various reasons.
