Frequent aqnd uncontrollable gas

I have been struggling for a while with uncontrollable gas and secretion of foul smells when I am in public. I have taken over the counter medicines to stop the gas but it will not stop. My body has a mind of its own and I just pass loud recurring gas that make others around me uncomfortable. It only happens when I am in public and I am in need of relief. Noone has approached me about it but I have been exiled at times due to this problem. please give some insight. thanks

My daughter has the same problem! She's been trying to figure out what's wrong with her for quite awhile (she also still has bad pain, even though she just had her gall bladder out about 6 weeks ago.) Sometimes it seems food-connected, other times not. But she's had the bad gas for years. Strange.

Have you been tested for lactose intolerance?
This can sometimes cause really bad gas.
