My abdominal ultrasound today showed some stones in the gallbladder, although he never mentioned the pancreas at all, so it's possible that one of those stones has managed to leave the gallbladder and block one of the bile ducts, I am actually wondering why he may have missed that, I thought as he mentioned the gall stones that he may have checked out the pancreas ducts as well.

I truly believe that I have had a bacterial infection, which has gone on for 3 months now, and because my doctors didn't pick it up it has caused issues with my gall bladder and intestines.

Seemed my test took around 5 mins, bit fast don't you think?

I don't know. Once they have established you have gallstones, they're going to schedule you for surgery I think.

The guy doing the actual ultrasound, would he be also looking out for any gallstones that may have lodged in the pancreas duct?

Well to answer my own question above, the pancreas appears to have been missed as there was absolutely no mention of it after speaking to my GP today, so I have asked to be re-referred again, this time to check out the pancreas, I really can't believe the doctor that performed the ultrasound would be that stupid as to have not scanned that particular organ of the body, after all I was scanned for pain around that area.
