Antibiotics are known for wiping out the good flora that live in our intestines. These good guys help with good functioning bowels. Did your doctor recommend eating yogurt or taking a probiotic to help get your gut flora back to normal? I always eat yogurt during the times I need to be on antibiotics. It helps keep the diarrhea away too.
Many yogurts only contain L.Acidophilus as the live culture. That's better than nothing. In my reading after a serious intestinal infection, I learned that other live cultures are extremely important. The yogurt I eat contains the following Live Yogurt Cultures: L.Bulgaricus, S.Thermophilus, L.Acidophilus, B.Bifidus.
I hope your doctor prescribed something for the nausea. Did he prescribe anything else for you?
