bile salt malabsorption

I am having a test today to see if I have this and just wondered if anyone else here suffers with it?

What's wrong with me is still a mystery, I have had a million tests, none of them pointing to any condition. I am curious how they test for Bile Salt Malabsorption and what are your symptoms. I am taking Cholestyramine powder twice a day for diarrhea and it has been working pretty well and I think it works by absorbing bile. Maybe I have that condition, what is the test called so I can bring it up to my doctor.

It is a SEHCAT scan. You have to take a tablet and then a have a scan a few hours later that day and then have a repeat scan about 7 days later. I shows your absorption rate.
