Probiotic recs.

I've heard a lot of people have had luck using probiotics to help with digestive issues. I read that not all probiotics are created equal. I tried an internet search with no luck. Does anyone hear have any recs. for good high-quality brands of probiotics?

I use Bio-K Plus and Renew Life Ultimate Flora Critical Care both have 50 billion per dose and both work great.  The bio-k plus comes in a plastic bottle and comes in different flavours, the other is a capsule.  Bio-k has gotton me out of the worst of my flares.  I alternate between the 2 because the strains of bacteria are different in both.

What about probiotic foods?

From my understanding, you could eat a gallon of organic yogurt (which contains the highest amounts of live cultures and probiotics), and it still would not equal what you can take in pill form.

However, taking the Renew Life probiotic pill and coupled with 1 or 2 servings of Brown Cow organic yogurt can really turn around bad episodes of loose or D, or extra trips to the bathroom, for my gut. The yogurt is soothing, I can almost feel it coating my intestinal track.

But I still vote for the pill each day too.
