morning diarrhea

Any change in diet? Have you had a stomach 'bug' lately, or food poisoning...anything that would have affected you in the last month? Been on antibiotics? Under unusual stress? Sorry for all the questions..just wondering if you've been able to pinpoint what might have set the symptoms off in the first place. A change in medication or a nighttime regimen that you didn't have before?

Just as we wake up in the morning, that is why our GI tract seems to be alot more active upon waking than perhaps other times of the day. If you read alot of posts here, you'll see that many posters suffer their worst symptoms in the am. Good for you that the rest of your day seems to go normally.

Have you talked to your regular doctor about this change in BMs yet?

well i went to family dr and after he went over my symptoms he said it sounds like ibs they did some bloodwork to see if anything was abnormal the only thing they found was low potassium so he put me on some potassium pills and dicyclomine really hope this helps and will that be a medicine i take always
