Irritable bowel syndrome and acid reflux

i have the exact same thing as you do. It is horrible. Even if i don't eat i have constant acid all the time. I am on ramaprazole medication to keep acid down, but it doesn't seem to do much. I am also severly bloated almost all the time.I am starting to wonder if there is something else wrong with me. Is this even IBS?

IBS is just a name given an unknown condition or problem somewhere along the digestive track. They call everything IBS! My normal GP diagnosed me with IBS a while back but i read and talked to many doctors and most of these digestive problems are a bacterial imbalance in the gut.. With the proper diet and lifestyle like eliminating refined card and sugars and eating lots of raw veggies.

Initially it was this thing called Digestive Mix by a company called Conscious food that helped my heartburn disappear completely after eating.. you chew half a teaspoon after every meal and that's it. I saw on their site it also helped people with 'IBS' and other digestive problems. Fennel tea is quite soothing also.
