Hi, I have been diagnosed with IBS-C. A few years ago I had surgery to repair the rectal prolapse into my vagina. The years of prolapse problems, IBS and surgery caused adhesions. about 1 1/2 years ago I had a balloon surgery to break up the scar tissue. It helped a lot, but still have difficulty going to the rest room. for the most part I cannot even leave the home because of the pain is so intense. I usually scream and jump in pain and have to jump in the tub then to an ice pack or heating pad to calm it down, but it takes many hours and just when the pain calms down I have to go to the restroom again. I can feel my insides rip as I go to the bathroom and my rectal area goes into these crazy horrible spams. Sometimes the pain is so intense I throw up and shake. I have several chronic fissures. I can't imagine because my BM's for the most part are super slender and or usually soft. I have lost 9 lbs in 3 days last, yet my stomach is bloated up a couple of sizes.
I am on 2 Amitizia, 2 Colace, 1Dexilant, Bentyl, Hyoscyamine, 2 Myralax, Steroid Cream, Oxycodone/Acet. Is there anything else I can do? Any help for this? The pain is so fierce, esp the spasm. Sometimes they just start when I am sleeping.
Any help would be welcome!
