Hi,
It sounds like it's been really frustrating, not knowing what's wrong. These symptoms could be a number of things, that's the thing about
IBS is that it is usually a 'diagnosis of exclusion' meaning when everything else has been ruled out with conventional medicine testing. IBS is more of constellation of symptoms that go together, and because of this, the symptoms can vary widely between people. Something I would add is that low grade chronic stress, often that we are not even consciously aware of, plays a huge role in digestion disorders, even Chrons and especially in IBS. Are you under any chronic stress that you are aware of? Was there any stressors in your life in the past year leading up to when you symptoms started?

Hello, all. First time poster. I looked through a few pages here, and didn't see any questions like mine, or I'd have just tacked on.
First off, I am 25 years old (male). Over the last four months, I have been getting quite sick, usually 15-20 minutes after eating. It started all on New Years Eve, and none of these symptoms were anything I ever had but on rare occasions (and usually explainable). Nausea, near-vomitting, cramping, bloating, and gassy (so very gassy). It can last from one hour, to three hours, to even four or five at the worst. It wasn't every day (still isn't) and there didn't seem to be a rhyme or a reason. Sometimes I get very sick and can't eat, others I can't. After one week of this, I went to the doctor (gastro) and the belief was gallstones; except my ultrasound came back clear. They put me on bentyl (decrease in bloating, increase in intestine activity), which failed. I then had a HIDA scan, and an EGD. My HIDA scan came back, and my gallbladder had an RF of 21% (on the low end). My symptoms had been continuing throughout and my weightloss started. I used to weigh 150-160lbs, I now weigh around 125. My EGD came back clean, outside of some esophageal burning (I guess I had some GERD with my symptoms, although it was only secondary). It was suggested to me that I take a round of acid-reflux medication and have my gallbladder removed if that failed and that I had "biliary dyskinesia". I had my gallbladder removed one month ago (3/15).
At first, I had thought I was cured. First few days I was fine (outside of some usual post-gallbladder removal symptoms). Then I got sick again. I tried a probiotic for the 10 day period of pills I purchased, thinking that could help (it didn't). Finally, I got a new gastro and recently went to him. He informed me my gallbladder should not have been taken out and that he thinks it's either IBS or Celiac's. Over the last 4 days, I've gone to an entire Gluten Free diet. He, also, gave me bentyl (it didn't work again). At first, again, I thought it was working, until last night. I got sick last night and tonight, with the same, bloating, sick, extremely full feeling (and it was the only meal I ate all day) that I've had since the day this all started. I know that Gluten Free diets can take time, but with having all of the same symptoms as prior, and without eating Gluten, I'm becoming very discouraged.
I guess my question is; does this sound like anyone's IBS symptoms? I haven't seen anyone on here suggest symptoms like mine, entirely, and am getting very worried, and very depressed recently. I'm really struggling to cope with this, as I'm either hungry/starving or feeling like I'm ready to vomit (never do). Any help, suggestions, or anything would be appreciated, I'm just so very tired of this feeling.....
