thanks for your reply. i'm just so confused by what could cause this. the way it appeared literally out of the blue and happens every single day, i feel that something must be causing it, though tests are showing nothing. i also don't understand why just taking a sip of something or a small bite to eat makes me belch...i'm not doing anything differently now than i did in the last 30 years of my life, you know? it's like my stomach can't hold the air?
a while back when this first started we did try a 2 week trial of prilosec but it didn't seem to do anything. i also don't have heartburn or acid reflux or anything, just daily belching.
i'll admit i have severe health anxiety when i dont understand what is causing a physical symptom. i've read far too much on google (terrible mistake), which is what scared me in the first place (stomach cancer, etc.). well we ruled that out with the endoscopy. then i remember reading one stupid "study" online that mentioned people experiencing "unusual belching" years prior to being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. i understand how stupid i sound, but now i cannot get that out of my head. usually that doesn't come up as a symptom but of course the one thing i read is in my head....i also know that a 31 year old female has low chances of that, but can't talk sense into myself.
what do you think of this? completely ridiculous? it would just be good to have some sense talked into me...please!
