OMG - last night was a real nightmare, and not while I was sleeping. I had been feeling slightly better after being very diet conscious for a week. So last night I decided to make myself a cup of hot tea (which I never drink but thought would be better than coffee). Was THAT ever a mistake! I very quickly filled with gas, gloating and pain, had quite a few bouts of D, and eventually after 4-5 hours was able to sleep when I could find a comfortable position. I woke this morning feeling somewhat sore and nervous that those symptoms will come back. This particular time it seemed as though my gallbladder area was the most affected during the attack as the area felt swollen and painful and loaded with gurgling gas....but my entire intestinal system see;med involved too. I am under alot of stress right now, as my unemployment ran out, I'm 66 years old so no one is pounding down my door to hire me, all I have to live on is my Soc.Sec. which just about pays the rent and nothing else, etc., etc. and I'm sure it's all getting to me but wow, this was the worst yet. My Medicare isn't effective til March 1st so I have awhile before I can go to the doc. So for now just wondering if something like a cup of hot tea with a little sugar and milk could trigger this kind of attack. Thanks for any advice.
