Hi Everyone,
I've got a stumper that made even my GI doc (who I love) go "hmmm". So I thought I would submit it to the hive mind to see what everyone thinks. As with most IBS posts, this one is going to be gross!
Occasionally I will wake up feeling fine. I will go to the bathroom, to urinate, and suddenly find a decent amount of diarrhea/mucous coming out of my posterior. No urge to go, no cramps. Its not a lot, maybe a cup - seems like whatever was sitting in the exit chute, so to speak. Immediately after releasing that, I throw up. It takes about
60 seconds for the entire thing to happen, from start to finish.... going to the bathroom, the nausea build up, to vomiting, to being done. Its certainly a shock to the system first thing in the morning, lemme tell ya!
Does anyone have any idea what this is about
? The doctor says its slightly confusing. Could be from many things, but he can't put his finger on it. I do not have UC or Crohn's. I occasionally have some colitis and inflammation, but nothing that should cause this. It seems to happen more frequently in the winter, which is when my symptoms get drastically worse. We also have no idea what that's about
. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
