I figured that I should share some news about a new alternative to colonoscopies.
I work in a healthcare distribution facility and we are expecting the final approval from the FDA to come any day now for a new colon cancer screening test. It uses a stool-based DNA test to test for colon cancer and high-risk polyps and has a 92% accuracy in detecting cancer (and the many of the 8% were false positives, not false negatives). I believe that the method for detection was derived at the Mayo Clinic.
It's non-invasive (and no prep) and we can ship it direct-to-consumer, so you don't even need to go to a hospital to get it done.
Just figured I'd let you all know about this after all the help you've been to me.
