I appreciate the input. It's just strange when this kind of thing starts happening with no relief in sight, other than symptom management. A couple of years ago, I developed and still have dry mouth /throat. At that time, I stopped consuming soda, alcohol, and 90% of my coffee intake. I also quit my second job, which put me in the midst of second hand smoke. Between this and a walking regimen, I thought things would get better - not develop a digestive disorder on top of it. My doctor told me that when people get into their mid-fifties, these types of things occur and the best thing is to work on healthy habits. I've added a multi-vitamin and a B Complex daily in case I'm not absorbing nutrients due to the passing of the insoluble fiber. Is this advisable or is it overkill?
You should do a a test (hydrogen breath test) to check weather there is any kind of food intolerance or not ..
