I just had another of my episodes. Lasted about 30 minutes but I'm not sure it's over yet as my abdomen is still cramping. Each episode has horrible cramping, often gas, constipation followed by diarrhea, feeling like I will throw up (sometimes actually throwing up), feeling dizzy, and getting chills. Does anyone else go through this? They used to be fairly infrequent but I've been getting them at least once a month now and they seem to be getting closer together.

I occasionally get the abdominal pains and they can make my belly tender as well. For me it typically happens after I have a bowel movement and oddly enough it seems more frequently after what I would call a "normal" person's movement. I have talked to my doctor about this and he basically looked at me like I was nuts and didnt understand. It has been a condition that has had me baffled for years. It's especially bad after having a bloody episode, which I unfortunately get often. And again doctor has found nothing and has not been much help. I dont really have any words of wisdom for you on this subject just that your not alone and I understand how horrible it is. Matter of fact I have been dealing with the crampy pain since last night myself today.
One thing that I have tried that has offered some relief is the use of essential oils. My wife started getting into these a while back and has been trying to get me to try them. finally broke down and tried it a couple months back and it does add some relief. I rub either peppermint oil or one called DiGize on my belly and within minutes the nausea seems to subside and some of the cramping goes away. May be something to look into??

I have contact dermatitis so I have to be extremely careful about what I put on my skin. My skin has a habit of randomly reacting to everything, so I usually don't even wear makeup. Right now I'm waiting to get some blood tests back. This time their doing tests for diabetes and TSH.

Have you been tested for Celiac Disease, Crohn's, or Colitis?

I have received blood tests for inflammation and Celiac's, all of which were within normal ranges. The test results have shown no diabetes and my TSH has shot way down in the last 2 months (still in the normal range).
