Vegf level?

Hi. New here. Not sure if this is the right place for this? Have had reoccurring bouts of cdiff from antibiotic use. Been on flagyl and vanco and still testing positive. Doctor ordered a Prometheus test for IBD and it came back negative but one of the inflammation markers vgef was 1200 with normal being <350. Doctor says probably from all the cdiff infections. Had colonoscopy. All is normal. Worrying me. When you google Vegf it points to a lot of bad things!

Do you have crohns disease? How long have you had c diff and what are the side effects of it? I've never had a prometheus test, but I am on Flagyl. Whenever I stop taking Flagyl my D gets worse. If your Dr isn't worried and you are then maybe take the test results to another doctor?
