Wel-Col

Just by chance, has anyone had any experience with welcol? I absolutely HATE taking pills (a bit of an anxiety disorder with pill taking). I have asked around with people I know and no one has really had any experience but one person. She had a major reaction to it and ended up in the hospital. So needless to say, I haven't taken it. Any background on it would be great! Thanks

I got a prescription for Welchol after my gallbladder surgery as I was having problems with diarrhea after the fact. Mine was in individual packages as I also can't stand to swallow pills. I did find this to be extremely constipating and had to stop using it but I do not consider this a major reaction. If you try the powdered form make sure to wash the glass soon after drinking it down as was nearly impossible to clean off!
