I went to her about
my burning rump. She took a look at my rump and confirmed that I have both hemorrhoids and skin tags and says my burning poo is probably the result of an inflamed internal hemmie. After perusing my food diary, she advised me to go off dairy altogether for a week - no milk, cheese, yogurt, or anything with the word "milk" listed in the ingredients! - to see what that does. Just as an experiment before my food allergy tests come back. Also to start drinking - drumroll please - aloe vera juice (anyone feel like joining in a vomit-fest?).
She also took a look at my very sore left hip. I developed that almost three months ago and haven't figured out the source; my knees have been bugging me too. But those are mild compared to the other issues, so I said I'll ignore those as long as I can. She seemed to think that was okay.
She said that it appears, overall, like I'm doing a bit better these days. Other than the vicious attack that brought me to the ER 10 days ago, I haven't had a 10+ day in quite some time, and even had those 4.5 days of formed BMs last week. She praised my optimistic attitude (little does she know the cursing/spitting/fuming that goes on at home, and sometimes here online!). And she thinks it is the fiber and probiotics that are starting to firm me up. Hey, I'll take whatever I can get. Going to collect the parasite puppies in another week and then...who knows? Maybe an answer? Some semblance of an answer?
I told her I want this to go away so I can go to med school. She seemed to think that was a reasonable idea. And seemed optimistic that maybe it'll happen. Oh my god! What will I do if I don't have craps all day long? What would YOU do? I'm going to start a poll!
